What we build

Integrated technology for a more disciplined future

The value is the whole engineering stack, not a single trading algorithm.

Quantitative research

Market hypotheses, systematic models, signal architecture, and regime analysis built on evidence.

Validation infrastructure

Reproducibility, out-of-sample analysis, walk-forward testing, and cross-feed validation.

Risk architecture

Position sizing, exposure controls, drawdown safeguards, and volatility-aware controls.

Execution infrastructure

Deterministic signal processing, execution validation, monitoring, and auditability.

The Alpha Meridian approach

From hypothesis to real-world execution

A structured, evidence-driven process to develop and deploy technology that performs under real market conditions.

  1. Research

    Define hypotheses and measurable conditions.

  2. Validate

Test across time, parameters, regimes, and independent data.

  3. Risk-control

    Control capital exposure before execution.

  4. Execute

Translate validated logic into deterministic execution.

  5. Monitor

Measure live behavior, drift, and operational integrity.

Technology program

Alpha Meridian FX

Under development

Systematic FX research and execution architecture.

AMFX is Alpha Meridian Technologies’ current quantitative research program, focused initially on EUR/USD. It is being developed through a controlled, evidence-based validation framework.

It is a research system and validation program, not a product for sale and not an investment offering.

Research & validation

Evidence before promotion

A model does not advance because a backtest looks attractive. It advances only when the evidence survives progressively stronger validation.

  1. Hypothesis
  2. In-sample research
  3. Parameter-neighborhood testing
  4. Out-of-sample and walk-forward testing
  5. Execution-cost stress
  6. Cross-feed validation
  7. Monte Carlo and risk analysis
  8. Forward validation
  9. Release candidate

Research infrastructure

Built for reproducibility

Six layers, designed so every result can be traced and repeated.

Data layer

Market data, normalization, and provenance.

source → normalized → versioned

Research engine

Deterministic Python backtesting.

same inputs, same outputs

Validation layer

Cross-feed, stress, and walk-forward testing.

independent data paths

Evidence layer

Hashes, manifests, and experiment records.

every run on record

Execution layer

Controlled deployment interfaces.

validated logic only

Monitoring layer

Performance, drift, and operational controls.

live behavior vs. expected

Risk

Risk is architecture, not an afterthought

Research environments and production execution stay operationally separated.

  • Defined exposure limits
  • Volatility-aware sizing
  • Execution-cost assumptions
  • Drawdown controls
  • Deterministic rules
  • Independent validation
  • Audit trails
  • Separation of research and production

Transparency

Every experiment should be reproducible

Each experiment preserves the records needed to repeat it and to defend the decision made from it.

Company

Building market systems that can withstand scrutiny

Alpha Meridian Technologies is building quantitative infrastructure designed around reproducibility, disciplined validation, controlled risk, and reliable execution.

Our long-term direction:

Research infrastructure → Validation systems → Execution technology → Analytics → APIs and institutional tooling

Leadership

Founder-led. Engineering-driven. Evidence-focused.

Michael Gayhart, Founder

Michael Gayhart brings more than 20 years of experience in operations, logistics, and engineering. He has led multi-phase operations involving more than 100 personnel, building a career on disciplined systems thinking, operational accountability, and sound judgment where procedure and reliability matter.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Villanova University. As global markets move toward systematic, data-driven methods, he founded Alpha Meridian Technologies to apply that same rigor to quantitative technology: research, validation, risk, and execution infrastructure that is reproducible, auditable, and designed to withstand scrutiny.

His focus is long-horizon company-building, with engineering discipline coming before promotion.
